The Peace Party knows that the European Union, and its forerunners, has been a major force for maintaining peace within its borders on our continent for more than half a century.  Europeans now co-operate successfully in many areas of our lives.  The European Parliament plays an important role in the EU and The Peace Party works to expand the place it has in the organisation so that one day all decisions will be taken by it, representing directly the wishes of every voter.
